With a life-long passion for luxury hotels, Robin maintained a shelf in her childhood library of the directories of every luxury hotel brand and memorized them. She would then check them off as she traveled to each property over the years.
After a career in New York, Washington, and Boston as a magazine publisher, Robin launched Luxe Recess to become the go-to resource for parents who sought the best luxury hotels for families. By leveraging her expertise in the publishing world, she created a site that incorporates stories, reviews, and recommendations by the world’s foremost travel writers and experts. Robin has grown Luxe Recess into a full-service travel business that includes the magazine, travel advising, and annual retreats for families.
Robin became a Virtuoso travel advisor in 2019 to assist readers in their travel planning. In her first year as an advisor, she won the coveted Celestial Club designation for the top 50 advisors in the world selling the Ritz-Carlton and other Marriott luxury properties. She continues to check off her travel bucket list and travels to more than fifty hotels each year to bring the ‘best of the best’ to her readers and clients.
